great trip to bomoseen

Just got back from 1st trip to Bomoseen.  We caught 20+ pike  15-16 of those were keepers.  Biggest was 9.3     Caught some nice bass but no big ones.   This was a great lake to fish , nice town and people.   Cannot wait until next year for another visit.   All fish released alive, except one entered into derby.

keepers meaning 20" ?

Yes   I am from Mass and they have to be 27 inches I believe.  They majority of the pike were in the 3-5lb range.  Three were 9lb+.  Probably  2-3 were under 20 inches.   We caught the majority right at or before the sun came up.  Then around 3:30 pm bite came back on until hour after sun went down.   Only lost 3 fish , 2 Bass I believe and one pike.

NO     that was my first time ever on Bomoseen.   Just got lucky.   I know some people that bass fish it and they gave me a couple of tips but other than that went in blind and basically got lucky..

Where were you fishing? I fished all weekend on Bomo and only caught 2 pike. Glad to here they were released.

Near float bridge  or that end of the lake   not sure of markers or terms for various places on the lake
