Glen Lake

Hey Guys,

Anyone have a good access point for Glen Lake?? I would really like to get my shanty out their next year (getting bored with Bomo), but the state access next to the dam doesn't freeze up so good. And my shanty is fairly good size {8'x8' build on an old snowmobile trailer} If you don't want to post it here, go ahead an shoot me a private message. I know I might be able to gain access for the old road that goes around the backside, but I've never gone down it in the winter. Any thoughts?

 Terrible lake for access, especially when trying to bring a shack on. The Dam, at the fishing access, makes for driving wheelers on the ice a dangerous spot all season in my opinion....Glen has always been a slow bite for me. If you are getting bored with Bomo, then I would suggest maybe trying St. Catherine...I seem to get twice as many flags there and the fish are a bit bigger on average.

If you get bored at Bomo , you better have a TV in the shack if your going to move to Glen.I fish it some ,it has the big one in it ,but it can be a pretty slow bite.BB

I planned on fishing the northeast channel for pike this weekend. Just wonderin if anyone's been fishin out that far this year and what kinda luck they've had.
