Long Distance Car Travel On Ice

Anyone think its safe yet to drive from Alburg Pass to Missisquoi Bay on the ice yet?

Did you bump your head??? Alburgh passage is essentially a river. The water from the Missisquoi River, Rock River and the Pike River all flow through there. There could be 2 feet of ice in one spot and 4" in another. Besides that, there's bound to be a cuople of nasty pressure ridges on the way. Use the roads, you'll live longer.

I was up there this weekend.  I wouldn't travel that far on the ice.
