New Video from the Bigwiggle, Smelt fishing Rigs and tips.

Hey Guys,

I am finally getting over my Pneumonia, so I going to hit Bomo tomorrow to do some smelt fishing with old buddy of mine. So tonight i made a video of how i rig up some of smelt rigs and tips to fishing them. Enjoy the video and Hopefully i will see you on the ice soon.

Today was a pretty slow day. Actually the slowest day I've ever seen it this year for me. I only managed to catch about three doesn't smelt in 3 1/2 hours of fishing. The smelt were definitely all over the flasher but just didn't want to bite for some reason.

You are getting better at these instructional videos, good job love the tip about keeping the upper jig perpendicular to the line, I've been having problems with my upper jighook tangling in main line I think this will help

Nice video BW. I finally found a store that had some of the Gulp Waxies today. Bought a white and a chartreuse. Want to try Joes Pond and maybe make the trek down to Bomo. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks. If you don't mind saying where was the store you found the Berkerly gulp. I have only seen them in white but chartreuse would great to have to.

Good stuff, Bigwiggle.  I've been using a very similar rig... only I've been tying it the way you say *not* to.  I never bother with the palomar knot because it seems so fussy to get the folded-over line through the eye.  You've convinced me now, though!

I appreciate your comments and support. I did  give shot out in that video. But then for some reason he got this hair cross his a** and now he wants to Hate on me for some reason. I am sure he is a nice guy and he should have no reason to hate on me or be jealous of me. Because I don't even know him  I am just done with this.

I have more respect for people who own up to their mistakes.  We all have made mistakes.    I have made many and my friends and family have looked past them.         People that ignore the mistakes they have made will only have them catch up to them in the future.
