Nice vid.

I remember when entry level was an old vex that sounded like an angry bee hive.

Times have changed.

I currently have a flasher. The last few years Humminbird has been very much the leader in sonar technology, so I would go with the 'BIRD".

I would disagree with your statement, but that’s ok. Lol! Now that lowrance and Garmin have a technology agreement, bird is in third.

IDK. Obviously the Panoptix by Garmin is leading the way, but right after that I'd say it's Humminbird. It certainly doesn't seem to be Marcum or Vex. Bird's Helix line has really caught on and the Ice mode is pretty nice.

Livescope will change that.

I have a couple of Helix 7's on my boat and they have been awesome, my ice transducer should be here this week but Ice mode looks sweet on the 7.

WINTER IS COMING!

Livescope will change that.

Livescope is useless to people who hole hop. It will never replace traditional flashers/2D sonar. More of a novelty for when fishing is slow
