Our season starts around the new year...could be a bit earlier this year... fingers crossed...closest to you would be Winding Hills Park off of 17K. Toms Bait shop on Prosperous Valley Rd off of 17M/Bloomingburg Rd in Fair Oaks is good baits from minnows to wax worms..euro larva..butter worms etc.

Lots of Fire Departments ,Conservation and Hunting Clubs competitions toward end of January through March in Sullivan county keep checking on the NY board and the SENY thread.

Bobg1969 welcome to the area besides the bait shop Hardwater Diehard mentioned Thruway Sporting Goods at foot of Oak street in Walden,NY. carries minnows and spikes/mealworms . Hanaford Supermarket is in same shopping plaza. Also look for a book titled Southern New York Fishing Directory you should be able to find this book at thruway or Dick's in Galleria Mall .(Middletown/Town of Wallkill,NY.)
