I left late yesterday but found 12-14 inches of ice on Marshfield. Reservoir was down at least 12 maybe 15 feet in depth.
They draw down the water level for flood control.
I popped holes looking for fish and covered a lot of water before I finally found some perch. 8 inches of black ice with crap on top.
Reservoir would have made incredible skating yesterday.
I caught an released a couple dozen with "Big Buck" measuring 6.25 LOL. Yeah, I got outta the house
Considering the forecast maybe one more weekend somewhere between Barre an Barton.
