Missing Fisherman
« on: Feb 01, 2008, 06:12 PM »
Any one hear the outcome of a missing fisherman. Last I heard it was a gentleman in his 80's who usually fished Lappan's Bay in St. Albans and he and his truck are missing.

Saw the plane flying slow and low last night.

Shame...

Latest on the local news was that he's still missing, and his pickup truck is missing too. They had a helicopter up today in the search but didn't find anything. They'll start again tomorrow during daylight. I think they're out of 'rescue' mode and into 'recovery, he's been missing since Thursday afternoon.

ANY WORD YET. This is so much like my buddy and his grandad. He was on his way to the drug store to get his meds and 7 hours later my buddy and myself found him down on Samsons point ice fishing  in his car. Did not remember what he left home for so he went fishing had no clue about the time. This is a little close to home. The wierd part is the truck is gone too....jim s

According to WCAX they have found the missing fisherman. He was still inside his truck at the bottom of Lappan's Bay. My condolences go out to the family and friends during this most difficult time.
