Yeah spent the day yesterday. I can confirm the slowness. First thing was the only action we seen other than a small pile on tip up in afternoon. Seen lots of small perch swimming around on the camera.

Is a guy able to get around with a pick up still or did the wind end that for the season?

Anyone hit the lake anytime recently? I have my eye on a couple spots on the south side and I'm hoping I can get to it with my truck. Is that possible on Montreal?

I am also curious on any recent reports with regards to access or how fishing has been. Also i am curious if access to bittern is still restricted currently? And if it is not, also curious on what access and driving conditions are like on that lake too.
Thanks in advance!

ice ridge right off the beach- no way you will cross with a truck when there is enough ice. after the ridge there is an opening in the ice that would be an issue as well approx 8 in of ice in the most solid spot I measured fishing so so have been twice prob let the crowds show up as usual and have at er better lakes to attend to

Anyone aware of the amount of snow currently on the lake? Just wondering if we need to plan to bring ATV/snow mobile.

With all the wind, does anyone know if the road is plowed to the beach on the south end of Montreal Lake?
