Fishing a hole
« on: Jan 21, 2022, 10:53 AM »
I'm trying to understand where to fish on a hole. In this picture you have 10-12 ft of water to the west and south, and very shallow 5-6ft of water to the north and east. Is any side in particular a better option? Do you fish right over the deepest part or along the drop off edge. How would you approach fishing a hole like this?

Lots of variables there... mainly starting with what your target species is.

Bottom type, weed beds, and weather also come into play.
