Great Day Yesterday
« on: Mar 17, 2013, 12:58 PM »
Great day out yesterday! -32C loading the sled, and warmed up to -20 around noon. Drifter took a burbot and I got a little laker.

I'm going to have to have a look at some kind of auger head retaining system, as I had about a 30 km round trip to go pick mine up off the trail  >:(

Can't wait till next weekend!!!

I think losing your auger was just a way to get out of the hard work.   ;)2

"OH NO!!! I've lost my augers power head. I'll go find it while you guys clear all the snow and use Drifters non-lost auger to drill a bunch of holes. Then I'll show up with mine just as you finish so I can fish!!!"
  ;D

Twas a good day for sure. Too bad the fish were being so finicky.

LOL!!!  ;D ;D ;D

You saw right through my evil plan! Sledding instead of shovelling was my agenda all morning. I had to wait till just the perfect moment to pull the rip-cord and drop my auger on the trail

I did get to drill one hole at least!
