In that case, have you ever tried putting the spoon between the two jigs?

No, honestly i love my set up the way it is and the fish seem to also. It's legal here and works well, i've been using it for alot of years.

my best jig for perch is called a stripper from keeper lures.
this is about the same size[16mm long and 6mm wide as the lavae of the green
eyed dragon fly perch love them,i tryed to make them ,close but.
need the football willow leaf ice blade comet tackle was the only one i know
that sold them.

Don't you usually put the small jigs below the spoon? So the spoon is up higher to attract them, then they see the smaller jig just below it?

At first I thought that was what he said, but after reading it again it wasn't.  Thats why I thought it would be legal if you removed the treble hook.  Either way I'll find out what works.

Having the heavier lure above the jigs sounds like a nice way to make a knot or two...
