Don't give up hope yet, we should have pond ice by next weekend. I've got 2 1/4" on my pond right now. The larger ponds are skimmed over. With the forecast for this week it should be real good by the weekend. I think the Erie and Sandusky bay are quite a ways off but at least we can fish. The warm runoff from the meltdown and rain last week are gonna keep the bay and lake crappy unless we get some real cold stuff which is not forecasted, but at least the water will be cooled down and ready to freeze. Any other optimists out there???
