Any one still use otab oxygen tablets

Can anyone tell me if there worth trying, tired of hearing the pump going and eliminating all the weight i can.  Thanks for your time

Tried them once years ago and didn't have much luck. Might have been the water temp or the time of the year I used them (summer).

I've found that just keeping the water cold has helped immensely. I only use the pump when I have them at home and typically will only take what I may need for the time I am going to be out.

I use an Oxygenator in my minnow bucket. It makes no noise, is light weight and runs a long, long, long time (like all season) on four AA batteries. I have had it for about five trouble free years of being knocked around while on the ice. The best thing is there are no moving parts. The down side is that they are about fifty bucks.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

I have used the tabs for crappie minnows with success, but pike minnows need more air. I have found the better bait stores have hardier minnows that stay alive longer. Use larger containers for best results. I don't like the sound and price of those pumps!
