I mananged to crawl out of my work hole for 34 hours of fishing on one of my favorite winter lakes....

No weight on the fish....as you can see we put 'er back down pretty quick.  The fish don't do well at -25, and we wanted that guy to make more big lakers......I would guess 'bout 17 tho.....

what kind of video camera do you use?  does it have any problems at -25 degrees?

Camera is a sony but I cannot remember the model.  Very compact but shoots great film....The guy shooting the film has had it for a few years, and we haven't ever had any problems with it in the cold weather other than a shorter battery life due to the cold.  You get that with most everything though.....vex, headlamp, you name it...if you don't keep the batteries or the device inside your bibs, they freeze up pretty fast....makes it more challenging that way!  HA!   :P

Cool stuff. Ive never seen ice that thick, must be wild. I cant imagine getting my wife to leave cold NY for an even colder Alaska in the winter though so I may never know the pleasure, but that video captured it real well, nice work man.
