Looking to upgrade my Greenworks chainsaw battery to a 5ah.
Anyone have any history w/ powerworks batteries ?

 Greenworks owns Powerworks is all I can tell ya.......for what that's worth.

Wondering why they would price their batteries 2/3 cheaper than greenworks

With a very tiny modification you can use strikemaster 40v batteries in greenworks tools. I use one in my polesaw!
