i was thinking of getting the commando also but i got the clam scout tc instead. i got the scout instead because i thought it looked better built and the thermal top was a big seller. i did like how big the sled was in the commando but didn't like how high the seat sat and the sled seamed flimsier. and the scout fabric is 2 times thicker. thats just my $.2

Just got mine and have used it about five time, really happy with it. No problem, getting all my gear in it. I added a set of conduit slide rails, makes pulling a breeze. I checked the.Clams and chose the Commando.

I have a cooler full of tip ups, heater, 8" auger, poles, fish finder, extra cloths and food with plenty of room for more. Great 1 man shanty enjoy.
