For years, I loved using the Pliki jigs in various colors, but since losing my last jig a few years ago I can't seem to find them again in our local shops or on line. I found that the Hali jigs are almost as good, and have been using them as a replacement.

Smallest slender spoon with 1.5" dropper to a single hook packed with spikes or minnow head. Deadly, and my dinner tonight proved it! :)
Catching more fish comes with a responsibility, keep a few for dinner and let the big ones swim another day.

Wish to read more specifics here, it is one thing mentioning a favorite lure ,, it is better to post where  and what species (in this case it is asumed yellow perch) color lure type of sun..clear ice.. or snow covered..depth.. clarity of water.. i mean there are too many variables and spectrum of day... also principle forage has a lot to do with choice in size and color and the dpth or structure of the watershed. In example, I would prefer a bigger  glow lure in over thirty feet fishing schooling perch rather a tiny teardrop or light weight jig .. so my favorite perch lure depends on what works from day to day.   My go to lures are many but usually under 1/4 oz for perch but not so light for thirty feet plus

I have used most of the jigs mentioned but in the past for ND Jumbos, it was mainly little cast masters and northland buckshots.  Been using PK predators this winter amazing results...u should get a couple for your box. Using just minnow heads.

X2 on the buckshots and PKs but I go for a little variation on the Kastmaster. I have better luck with the Macho Minnow. Almost the same profile but I like that little clacking tail added.

I've also picked up quite a few jumbos on small rattle baits while trying to call in walleyes.

Any small perch sized jig with mousies worked today. .slow but also every take on my showdown was very light. No aggressive hitstoday . Very light taps and many misses.

Jiggin shad raps to bring them in and kastmaster or something similar tipped with a minnow head to pull them up.
