Deep Creek Trout

I've heard of the monster trout :o lurking in the dam area.  Can anyone give more first hand info?  I'd be curious how people fish for them, baits, lures, and their perferred depths etc.  Like to give em a try sometime.

They are suspended. Some only feet under the ice.

 20 ft down around the trees between stump point and the the dam
