Elevenmile Res, the past 2 weeks

Went to the mile last week on the 24th. My best trip this winter, caught 2 rainbows (kept), lost 2 in the hole, had 4 other good hits and missed a ton of sight bites. Was in 12 feet of water. Seen alot of fish swimming around. Went back yesterday, March 2nd. Wind was brutal, had to screw the hut to the ice. Same spot as last week. My buddy Jerry was with me. I had 1 bite and finally caught a 14" rainbow on the Automatic Fisherman when we were getting ready to leave. Plan on trying again next week.

Glad to hear that you had some good action in 12FOW.  That's the ticket!  I may be up there this weekend.  Have to see if this respiratory crud takes it's leave of me.

Warm weather in the future!!  May have to plan a couple last outings to the Mile and prep the boat.
