landlocked salmon

Just wondering how you guys would set up a tip up for landlocked salmon.  I usually fish for bass through ice. I'm new to salmon fishing.

I use a real light setup usually 4 or 6lb mono leader about 2foot in length a small splitshot just big enough to hold down my bait a #16 treble i like the red ones and i usually start out 3 feet below the ice and i usually fish in 30-40 feet of water this is just my preference as my friends fish deep water and also catch salmon but i seem to have the most flags. I like medium shiners or icecycles
