First Fish of the Year
« on: Dec 08, 2009, 10:35 PM »
Finally got out ice fishing today! The ice was only 2" but it was enought to fish. We ended up going 6-8 on flags, nothing big. I'm hoping to do some serious fishing this weekend pending the huge snowstorm thats supposed to hit us tomorrow.

I use my flasher in my tip up hole, but only to set the depth. Works great because you can place it just above the weeds and everywhere in between. Its also easy to see if your sucker(or whatever you happen to be using) is tangled up with the sinker or mainline.
