does anyone know if there is save ice on Cobbetts yet?

Out front of the beach area looked like Swiss cheese today, ice looks inconsistent a few hundred yards off the beach
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

I fished Cobbetts on Friday and Sunday. 5-6in of ice but the farther you walkout tours the middlespring the ice thins

when we had that thaw, some parts in the middle opened up, then it skimmed over + refroze.  so, it's very uneven in the middle.

ice by the beach access on the south side held up much better.  personally, i'd stay well away from the middle.
