East Canyon

Has anybody been up to east canyon lately. Just would like to.know the conditions and how the fish are acting. Thanks for any info.

I went up last Monday.  Was there at 6:30, on the ice then.  Plenty of ice, plenty of fish to be had.  Just wasn't lucky  enough to ice any.  Stayed till 11 or so.  The bite was on when I was leaving.  So, I would like to try again, but it is aways away from me.  Good fun lake.  Get there early enough and you will have to brake for deer in the road, and coyotes howling before sunup.

Thanks for the info. just so you know they are putting on a derby up there in feb. scuds fishing out of Morgan is putting it on.

What day?  Where are they gathering, what area that is, and how much to enter?

Feb. 19. call up to scuds fishing in Morgan to find out details. I do know it is 50.00 to enter, they were going to cap it at 100 or 150 people and I do not know if it is full yet.

if your gonna hit east canyon i got some primo info.  we've slayed them this year.

Any info that you are willing to give out would be helpful. I am going to fish the derby up there and I have had a heck of a time finding fish and finding what they want to eat so I would really appreciate any info you will give out.

Have you been up there lately? and are you fishing over by the boat ramp or up by the inlet and what colors have you been getting them on? The last time I was up there I had a lot of lookers but they just would not take any thing I showed them.
