I just talked to Steve Dalby he said he just got the pic from another guy an made it is profile pic an walleyes forever did the rest? Iam not 100% but I think the fish is 17.1.. I had the pic sent to me a week ago an that was the weight I got from a reliable source.. either way still a pig an trophy of a lifetime for sure!

The guy in the pic holding the fish is not Pete Dalby, I think I said Steve Dalby in the other post.. I do not know the guy who's holding it.. congrats to him though!

That's what I heard, under the record, but now it's 17.9....
Probably will be deleting this soon as I haven't heard anything else reliable about this.

First time it was posted said 16lb 10oz. Next time was 17lb 1oz. Now it's 17lb 9oz. Hell of a fish no matter. When we left Crooked Creek the day before it was said to be caught there was a lot of water on the ice and it was windy and warm. Must have really had a change in weather by the next day.

I heard it weighs 28.9 oz and the guy holding it is really Al Linder. These posts are funny, if I caught this pig I would do the same. 16.10 3 mins out of water, 2 days later 17.9, 1 week later 18.2.....

I heard it came out of Swan Lake and the F&G wants it so they can spend thousands of dollars testing it to prove it wasnt born there.

Sounds like the only reliable source here is if you yourself eye witnessed the catch ,the weigh in, it self.Typical Montana fish story.
