How many cusk have you got this year ice fishing

me and a friend have ben out 6 times and got 112 cusk 2 days no cusk last night one 11 lbs alot 1-2 and 3-6 .they haveben moving on use alot. from islands to the mouth of rivers coming into the lakes owell its fun going friday wehave to cheak are lines every hour by law alowd 5 lines each

i'm up to 71, my best day was 25...they run a little bigger though...average about 6 pounds maybe bigger...lots of 5-8 pounders....a dozen or so over 8, half a dozen over ten... i need to find a new spot as the fish don't seem to be moving enough..maybe get into them thick again.

LOl hey Ive only fished for them 4 times...
SO lol not doing as bad as last year lol.
Next year will be better..I love the Ling but i just don't live near them....

Tell the truth Jake....ITs when you catch as much Ling as him The Ling Gods allow you to do anything you want...LOL....The boyz i hear jake have caught a few Ling from their Trip up north we should hear from them tommorow with their catch totals!LOL tight lines!

Just got back from an overnight ling trip with some friends. Caught and released 33 in 2 days. Biggest was 12.5 lbs but majority in the 4-6lb range. I'm up to 47 thanks to the last 2 days.

im up to a whole *gasp* 3!!!!! lol. the place were we have our house has no cusk in there it seems cuz we've had our house out there since early january and total this year is 6(biggest being maybe 2-2 1/2lbs)

try where a river or stream comes into the lake 8-20 feet of water 3-6 inch live bait

I wish I could use Live bait for some lakers here in BC but is illegal. Some guys have all the luck. I likes to jig though.

Right you are Mr Germ. Just seeing if you were still around. I knew you woud bite. Thought I lost you for a while there. Are you still on ice??? Still good shoreline here.

Big Dawg mentioned live bait and I was a bit jealous. I would like to use "live bait" especially for lakers.

Yep still on Ice ...Was out the Fishing yesterday...Catching Perch mostly...Lots of Pike around for the guys who like em...We have Schooling Male perch in abundance so the Pike are having a Hay Day...Great time of the year for the Pike Peeps to get their greedy lil handys on those toothy critters...Perch are small though...Just waiting for the crappies now!! Tight lines! By the way Its hard to get Rid of Germ's, Fully that is! TIght lines!

Yeah at my local lake the kokanee are getting ready to spawn. Is making for some good burbot and laker action. Have not been able to land a 20plus lb laker this year. 19.3 was the largest. Was able to land 3 burbot last week from 11-13lbs. No monsters yet. I let them go and kept some 8-10lbers. Taste much better. Still lots of time to catch old "Walter". I'm up to 96 burbot this year and will break 100 tomorrow. Hope I keep getting just above freezing temps in the day and cold nights. Love this time of year.
