Hamlin, PM, or Pentwater???

Having a couple friends from down south that have never been on ice before come up to deer camp for the weekend to try ice fishing for the first time.  I have never ice fished these lakes aside from victory park on Hamlin.

Wondering if anyone with some insight would suggest one of the lakes over the others for perch/ pike/ incidentals?

Appreciate the read. Thanks for Checkin it out.

PM has good pike fishing and decent gills. Couldnt tell ya about this year, but did well out there last year.

Fished pentwater last weekend. Nothing but dink perch. Lots of guys fishing and I never saw a single jumbo on the ice. Good luck!

There is also Lincoln Lake just north of town that is a decent pike producer. Not sure about the pannies in it , we always just ran flags.

Any idea on the ice condition on Hamlin?  Is there much slush on top?  Has anybody been doing anygood off Wilson Park?
