  Does anyone know who and what won the tournament Sunday. Had a good crowd there. Nice day also

When I got to the pond, I started out near the Legion.
I worked my way out to where I was hoping for some white perch, but stopped about 100 yds out.
The ice was thickest closer to shore, and where I stopped it was roughly 5 inches.
What stopped me was that every hole I cut was soon covered by 1-2 inches of water, and the ice was cracking all afternoon.

OK, enough about that....

My first fish was probably my PB ice fish ever!!!

I caught a HUGE bass, approx. 23 inches long, and made it thru my 6 inch auger hole.
If I had to guess at a weight, it was somewhere in the 7-9 lb range (possibly even more)

I did catch 5 perch and 3 pickerel, so not a bad afternoon at all.

Sigman:
One of my fishing buddies won’t the big bass that was 6.2 and my other one won the auger raffle. All I got was a buzz but had a great time.

Hit the pond again today.

Walked down to the shore and watched the Westford Fire Dept. do ice rescue drills.

Cool seeing how they perform the different types of rescues.
