Lake Nominingue is the biggest lake in the Laurentians. I've never fished it, supposed to have bass, lake trout and panfish. I think they may have stocked walleye in there at some point in time, not sure if anything recently.

It's in zone 10 which is open until March 31st. It isn't on the exception list that has the closed lakes on it, so I'd assume it's open. See:

What made you think it was closed?

That is why I didn't notice it in the list, it was listed under "grand lac". Closed in winter.
