Iles de Boucherville

I'm thinking of going to Les iles de Boucherville next week with my son and I'd like to know where would be the best place to get on the ice?  I would not drive on it but just Walk.

Enter the parc des iles des Boucherville just off the 20 near Ile Charron,drive right through past the first pavillion to the golf course. You are allowed to access from there during the winter.   

When you get on the ice go left and walk to where the channel splits. Set up in the right channel where there is no current.
