went up to local mountain pond to put in my bait trap and there was well over an inch of ice on the pond, and theres a current running thro it! hopefully ill get some good bait from the pond but we still got plenty of time to get ready for the upcoming season, good luck to all!

if it werent for the warmer then usual weather coming up this week, we'd probably be on the ice early this year.  As long as its not late.....

This warm weather is gonna kill what we have started but lets hope for a deep freeze for the week after!

things have to get worse before they get better, or in this case warmer before they get colder
