nice ice fishing in quebec

HI everyone

I live in quebec i do a lot off fishing

usely i go on the ottawa river for some walley and pike and in northern lac for some whitfish and all and this year i will go back for some (((SHARK)) YES shark

we fish for sharks in quebec on ice,,,,,,,its in the fjord off saguenay,,,their was a good article on this,,,in the ice fishing magazine 2001/2002 page 86.7.8
their is caught every year and a lot off cod and some alibut and some other
saltwather species and it can go to 1000 feet deep in there,,,,,used big home made spool that can andle a lot off line and a big lead waight,,,,,,,if anyone have some question about this ,,,,i have some adresse and some phone number if anyone
is ready for some chark,,,,,,,ho those want to put a shark on their ice fishing resume................ ...................... .......

I will be a Participant from Quebec in the new year As I am moving there. Can't wait to get away from the Citylife here in ontario.

Joco I saw that article and I also read some Sentier Chasse et Peche about this looks like fun. I was up at La baie and Chicoutimi 2 years ago, next trip will be in the winter to do some ice fishing. Do you know of any "pourvoyeurs" for the saguenay.

Thanks for the links I will check them out for sure. I am moving to the Sherbrooke area. I am following the girlfriend. She got a job there and I am still looking. We will be staying at her parents house in Disraeli on Lac Aylmer until I find a job. Poor me I guess I am going to have to go fishing while she works so I don't get bored. Can't wait.

                             i will go to the saguenay in February and i want to know were you are fishing on the saguenay.baie des ha,ha st-rose du nord or st-fulgence???we go to st-rose du nord and it's a great place.not to much people and quiet.last years we caught 27 seabass,60 to 70 smelt,2 cod(very proud of that)1 jellyfish(yark)1 trout and a lot fun

like i wrote I'm going there in February and i don't exactly the date because i must fit my work shift with my cousin shift.he work at alcan and i work in a sawmills.I'm 5 2 and his 3 3 so it's hard to fit this.
I've been there for tree years and i can't mist that trip.
i never saw somebody catch a shark cause it's not usual.at Ste-rose the last one was in 1988 or 89 i think.they are catch by chance.
if you go there go to Ste-rose it's amazing.

lucky we are TH.the fiord of saguenay is really another world.it's not like  your weekly icefishing.we fish cod as deep as 600 feets.here some pics i took last year.

really cool fish hey!!!yes that's inside the more violet shanty.we sleep on top of my head on the first pic.there's two hole in it and we are fishing in warm.this fish is very good to  eat.taste like walleye fillet.
