Few more bass came to play today, as well as my first flag of the winter, pike hit just as I was packing up to leave.

Good stuff, do you eat the bass? All the ones I catch are usually full of sores and weird growths. Pike are always clean and perch full of worms.

Rarely eat bass. I'll keep pike and perch from clean waters. Some regions have perch riddled with worms, other regions a still clean. Don't trust the water at the spot I caught these.
