Exactly this summer we are going musky fishing with musky joes . My son won a free trip with him at one of the sportsman shows . If he is on his ipad it is usually hunting fishing or some type of construction. He's a straight A student that loves the outdoors could not be prouder of him.

Horrible day on the pond today, fished north of permanent (Boggey's???) shanty in 13 FOW, blue dot or Genz worm with spikes or eye was the only thing that attracted anything worth keeping, TONS of dinks and lots of pike on the camera

Thought I saw what appeared to be a burbot (eel-like tail) on the tv just as I dropped it down....just saw back half of fish. Is there burbot in the pond or did my "Oneida Lake" eyes play tricks on me?

Probably another pike, people on cameras or losing fish at the hole there often wonder what they were & its normally them.

Now that its about that time of year............
"You can only hold that ROLL up for so long bud"
Is what everyone with any common sense has been saying to the Yankees for a while now.
Not only highest payROLL but have more payroll to guys on IR than most have total.
How'd that go again?

Congrats grandpa!
While it looks like he stole your hat, don't let him get into that split personality thing.
The 1st pic with the minnow it looks like he has something to say.
Great pics!

Fished the pond today. Also cooked up chow, soaked in the sun top down on the shanty, drank some dews with the son. Did I mention the fishing? No complaints here.

A friend and I took a ride up yesterday as well nice day on the Pond first time up this year as I usually fish Oneida  but we did pretty well caught 12 Perch worth keeping and had a lot of fun doing it .. Sure would be nice to learn were to go to get some of those Crappies though they are my favorite but never have much luck finding them through the Ice  :) :tipup:Keep your lines tight

Hey guys, I have a place on the south pond and finally got off my a** to fish it sunday.  Fishing was sporadic but satisfying.  How do you get the fishing reports on here?(obviously I'm new...)

Get 3 more posts, however most this season aren't using it for the pond, they all wind up here.

Fished the south pond yesterday afternoon.  A few very small perch only... ! very big largemouth made the day worthwhile.  The guy next to me caught one also.  Fished til dark, but it got no better.

How far can you transport bait with your receipt and how long is it good for?

You can transport and use certified bait anywhere in NY state. Your reciept is good for 10 days.
