Some of us "unrefined rednecks" perhaps should start hanging stink logs from tree branches, or anything similar to scare the neighbors away.  Until then have to resort to weird pictures.

A few more kudos for the Sandy Pond Team Tournament. Thanks to the lovely Lisa for the great pictures and lending your husband to the fray. Also to Tommy Boy for contributing 30 #s of his Brats sausage .  It sure went over well after a cold day on the ice. Did I detect a little beer in that secret recipe? Lastly, to Eddy for our chef due jour for that fantastic venison stew.
I wish we could do it again next weekend LOL.... I'm working on some new sponsors for next year Jim... Hope to get some bigger prizes as this thing continues to grow.... My only fear is that we may be too busy to fish all day LOL... Honestly, we were done for the most part before noon. Lisa has agreed to come out on the ice to take pic's next year, I will accompany her around hopefully with my sled by then  ;D ;D ;D

Well it has some beer seasoning components, hops, barley but no actual beer. just the flavor. I'm going to grind some more up friday night if you want to swing by and help!  One of the perch I caught on saturday had a lamprey mark on it as well.... nasty little creatures.

We caught more salmon with lamprey wounds this past summer than in many years.  Maybe making another comeback similar to the early 90's.  What a mess.  I was planning on fishing the Sportmans tourney in a few weeks but I am afraid that Tommyboy may enter.  I may as well hold my money.  Nice job! Will we see you there with your kids?  I am sure I'll be there with daughters in tow.  They really hit em good this weekend especially Sunday, I guess the shanty was a good choice!!! ;D ;D ;D

Stu and Tommy Boy. We got to get the kids signed up again for the tournament on March 1st. This year I have my grand daughter too .She has proved to be a real trooper. My 2 grandsons are through with wrestling by then and I will have them with me also. Ian had  a great time last year. Every kid gets a door prize. Give me 2 more years and I will have my great grand daughter as well. Fishtank and his crew do a great job on there tournament.

Holy smokes boggey, thats a pile O'kids there!  I am bringing my neighbors daughter, my son will probably have to work. I think Stu's girls are gonna be in it. We will have to gang up and take all the places! We will have to run some pike too! I am looking forward to it ;D
