First off let me say I'm new to the new to the ice game. And fished the pond Saturday.  Did ok as group I also saw that someone had a Wheeler on the pond and thought the ice was not thick enough.  Fished Sunday by myself for an hour then the rain came in.

Thinking of going out new years day if anyone is going to be around.  Are people willing to educate others of you ask them for info out on the ice?  I am a big time steelhead junkie and know other a steelheaders can some time be tight l lipped.  Just wondering if you ask people about there rigs and setups if they would share.

No, but I can recommend a Shappell 150 - decent price, well built and a dream to use.  The "quick flip" feature is awesome.  Roomy as a 1 1/2 man at 44" wide.  All around nice shelter for the price.  Build a smitty for it or for your old "snow plow" it'll be a dream to pull.

Sure thing Kevin as far as I'm concerned 22 and a half is to small to keep I caught a 32 today about 200 yards out from The right of way

I can make up a crock pot full o chili as well!! 7 time award winning chili, at least at my works annual chili cookoff.. Have had the Flu since about sunday the past two days have been bed ridden, starting to fill a little better today, with any luck I will be good to go to hit the pond at least one day this weekend! -8 at work today, think it was zero at mexico before I left this morning. going to make some thick ice!

Yo Coach,
Ditto that on bcons re-entry into the fray. Eddie and I both have those tailgate stoves and grills . Tommy boy made up about 20#s of his brats as well. Who is going to make the Chili?  Heck, we may expand this tourney into a cook out as well. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
YUM!
You can get a good look at a steak by sticking your head up a bull's a$$, but wouldn't you rather take the butcher's word for it??

:woot: my wife might disagree , she says release is on the ,./ most of the time  ;) you guys wouldn't able to keep up with [snag] ;D
