My daughter has been asking to go but with the warmup and the rain, I'm not too confident in the ice conditions.  And I don't have the posts to get to the conditions page.

Is the ice on the pond safe yet?  I haven't made 3 posts yet to access ice reports.

No one off the south end (Wigwam, Eddie's Cove) or GP, 3 small groups off of Blind Creek, but not far out at all and they were the only folks out on the North Pond today.  The pond was halfway open on Thursday, so not sure it's that safe yet.  Also, what ice is there looks rough, lots of brush and branches embedded in the ice.

Yo Chief,
Didn't realize that was you. It was a day devoted to the family. Had to get the grandkids setup for fishing. Never drilled a hole all day. Went shopping for the new shanty. Did you get on the ice? I actually fell to sleep before the super bowl and missed it. Rita bought a bunch of snacks so the only aspect of the super bowl I got to enjoy was the junk food when I woke up at 10:30. It's amazing how your value system changes as you get older eh?

Hate to admit it but I was also out cold at 7 and woke up at 5. Best I felt in weeks. Hows the snow up north?

Yeah I got on the ice at big bay. Actually did pretty well on the flatfish. I had to work later that day until 11 pm. Then wake up and work at 9 the following morning. I would be lying if I said I didnt fall asleep at halftime myself. Did turn out to be a pretty good game though.
It'll eat.
