Time: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Fee : $40.00 per team
Limit: 20 perch per team
Registration Time: Preregistration -Feb. 3rd 5:00pm-8:00pm @ Sandy Pond Steak House (inside) or
Day of Derby - Feb. 4th 5:30am-7:30am @ Steak House parking lot

Rules:
•   Team Event: The 20 Biggest Perch (aggregate by weight) per team
•   Optional: Single Largest Perch Pot (by weight) additional $2.00 per team
•   No Frozen fish ( must be wet in a bucket when brought to scale)
•   All perch must be caught on the pond the day of the tournament.
•   Everyone must compete fairly, no cheating. Cheaters will be DQed and forfeit registration fee
•   Must follow NYS DEC Regulations and possess NYS Fishing Liscence.

Prize Payouts (based on 50 teams)
1st Place- $500.00
2nd Place-$250.00
3rd Place-$200.00
4th Place-$150.00
5th Place-$100.00
6th Place-$ 75.00
7th Place $ 50.00

. Glad you enjoyed the show. When I first saw it start I figured that gust would let up and it would stop....I WAS WRONG

It kept going....and going. Caught up to it once and the drag rope tripped me....had to stop and check that rough ice it went over before I went accross that, then finnaly dove and grabbed the rope. When I got back.....the pike was still on the tip up I got up to get. Only keeper of the night. That wind was CRAZY. Bought some ice anchors on the way home that night

pondskipper if youre asking how many fingers they have you must be lost thats not sandy pond youre fishing thats onondaga lake . you need to head further north

any wheelers on pond ? have a 2 hr drive and won't bring if can't use. thanks and good fishing. just found this site its great hope we can keep it. been coming to the pond for 30 yrs great place.

Slow day catching a handful of dinks With my man Boggey today. Man what a waste of time I'm never gong back there. On the bright side we managed to stay dry. Boggey thanks for the singing lessons!

Turkeyslayer. Didn't see a wheeler on the ice but one was heading out of them elms as we left. I wouldn't be any where near one if it was me.

fishing wasn't that great today saw very few on camera . 6 inches of black ice every where we drilled . saw quads and sled driving all over ice

we ended up with 37 keepers. four were slobs. Seemed like bite heated up when sun was out. Not to many people where we were. Had a Cat sled and old doo near us and they seemed to have no problems. we had 4.5-5 inches of ice.

Took the long ride up to to scratch the itch while I could, its was a slow day but great to be out. the ice was in great shape gereraly around 5 inches of black ice. a few machines out fished 14 fow brought home 14 keepers..hope the warm up this week doesnt kill the ice...the itch is still there.

Well saturday started out slow as did thursday and friday but after moving about 5 times I managed to find a decent hole... I ended up with 46 over 9" but had to work extremely hard for the bite. I couldn't get those last 4 to come but all in all it was my better of the 3 days I fished. My Marcum screen was lit with fish all day but getting them to bite was another story. My wife is due with our 1st born this week so I may be taking a few days off from fishing this weekend but we'll see. O and by the way me and my partner Dave Genz are going to win the team derby so you may as well pay us now.
