Instead of talking about the fish, tell us about the ice conditions.
Some of us have a long way to travel.

with  this  warm  temps  and  rain  conditions can  change  quick , no  way of  know  what  it  will be  like  tomorrow . i  know  i  had  alot  of  water  running  down holes  making  them bigger  ...  cover  that  with snow  and  you  got  problems

i  did  meet  a  very  nice   young  sportsmen  out  there  today  named   shawn ...  shawn  did  well on  the  northerns  and  even  shared  a  few   flags  with  me  ....shawn  great  to meet  you  ;D

and  did  i  do well????
you tell me  :roflmao:

I heard they are stacked heavy by the structure around the Altmar Hotel.

It's a catch and release zone though, ;D  that's where all the big breeders hang out.

The pond has about 1/8" less than it did an hour ago.   ::) ::)

Seriously any report from this morning or afternoon won't be any indication of tomm morning!

Please use your heads and with temps still increasing through 8pm on & off rain quickly followed by wind 30-40 gusting to 60. It won't matter what it was, only what's there in the morning Please be safe! Judging by the weather, there'll will be reports in the next day or 2 that will provide a more accurate indication for the weekend.

4 to 5 inches of ice on Green pt.   Starting to get wet along the shoreline bit no slop once you get out of the marina... I didn't see any water running down the holes where I fished.  The snow was still absorbing the rain and run off.  Tomorrow could be totally different in either direction.  If it he's cold tonight with the high winds, it could benefit the ice and make a bit more but if it doesn't get cold, it'll be a lake out there with questionable spots in the ice.

Was out on the pond this morning and so far the ice is holding up. The ice would varybetween 4 to 6 inches this morning. Slow for fishing but was just good to be out there.

Gotta love it went up north just to check on my house on the south pond saw a few guys on the west side but I had open water drove to wigwam very supprised by the ice but I had no gear but a guy was on his way out onto the pond as I walked off and offered up a extra seat in his shanty and a extra jigging rod. Wish all sportsman would conduct themselfs with kindness like that.

Just got off the phone with DD, he went out of green point today. Ice started out with 3" white and 2" black. lost an inch by days end. See what tonights freeze does. Should start making good ice again as long as the wind doesn't beat the snot out of it
