$150 to spend at Bass Pro
« on: Dec 26, 2008, 12:11 AM »
What should I buy? I'm planning on at least one more jig rod. What else is "must have" on the ice? Got 3 $50 cards today for Christmas.  ;D

They have ton to choose from, but mostly camo (hunting).  FWIW...I think you can get a better deal elsewhere.   (Sports Authority or  Dicks)  Realizing you have the cards might make the difference.   I bought boots at building 19 that I've had for a long time and only spend 30 bucks.....

Good Price and waterprood, i recommend checking the weight as sometimes these styles feel like they drag you down after a while.

FNE, those are like the boots I use. Lacross Icemans 1000gm, they are about 4.6lbs. Just remember to get some good sox Wool.

If you have a few bucks to add, I would look at the lacrosse "alpha" boots. Do you have a buddy heater for your shanty? fiska jigs. jiggin'n raps. propane. under armor is the best i have EVER owned and would pay double if i had too!

If I had the money I'd get runners for my shanty, and a cover for the shanty. I'd also buy new boots

So I wound up getting a pair of "Alpha" Rackmaster boots, a jigging rod for my son, a couple of rod holders and a crap load of jigs with some money left over. Now all I need is some ice....
