$175, A state pin and some fish too

After the unfortunate cancellation of the MAAnglers derby, 1 kingSalmon, Russell, and myself, headed out to try out luck with the Tiger tip-ups derby. Good decision!!!!

While the flags were not flying with any amount of steadiness, those few we did mange to land were quality fish. Caught plenty of bass, 1 pickeral, 1 brown trout, 1 crappie, and jigged up some punkers.

Russell was the big winner of the day, taking 1st in the derby, then winning the 50/50 raffle as well.

as for myself, i beat my PB Crappie, with a 2+lber

That's a true slab Crappie Jeeps, Gongrats.  And quite a football by your pops as well!!!

Will we be seeing you at bear hill next weekend.  Some big boys in there as well.

Official size on crappie, taken at an official  Mass weigh station (Rogers Fish Taxidermy in Ludlow MA)

15 3/4 inches long, 12 inch girth, 2.4lbs

Second state pin for crappie in 2 weeks, so while i won't say i'm full of crap, i will let you all call me a crappie fisherman.

Getting a dual mount done, will post pics once i have it.
