That's a ways out, there's a lot that can go wrong.

True enough, but having gone out in around a 100 different boats, the only time I was in a boat that was going down (engine Cowling slipping under, bow almost straight up) was a 28' boat... Size does not necessarily make it safer and often adds a false sense of security...
