*Rescheduled* Derby moved to March 5th

Just as a reminder:

Rescheduled March 5th 2006 —  SAL sponsored annual ice fishing derby on Long-Sought-For-Pond next to the Legion.  Derby starts at 8:00 a.m. with registration in the Legion lobby beginning at 6:00 am. Reg. fee is $15.  Bait available outside from the Boy Scout troop 591.  A Jiffy Ice Auger will be raffled away.  Tickets available at the event, or from a SAL member.  Food/drinks available from the Ladies Auxiliary on the ice.

A combination of the nor'easter and open ice on the east side of the lake forced the SAL to reschedule this event to March 5th.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Also, on the same lake, there are derbys planned for this weekend and next:

Feb. 19th: Ice fishing derby sponsored by Lowell Fly Fishers, registration in Legion Lobby 6am—8am. Reg. fee $15.

Feb. 26th: Ice fishing derby sponsored by Assabet Valley Bassmasters, registration in Legion Lobby.

I would suggest that you call the night to confirm if the derby is going to take place.  Call the American Legion at 978-692-7400.
