It is MY responsibility to make sure my children can enjoy fishing years from now. Make sure your kids can fish.  If you see something ILLEGAL Contact the Massachusetts Environmental Police Radio Room at 1-800-632-8075 at any hour of the day. They might show up if there is enough staff working.

That's amazing and I bet a bit spooky until you get use to it since your mind would be telling you it has to be real thin to be that clear.  I know I was nervous the first time I was on real clear ice.

Was on some ice a couple years ago where you could see the fish coming to the hole from 5 or 10 yards away. Very cool.
Hard water Tight lines Flags up. Doesn't get any better than that

I pulled up a 4lb brown on Onata and you could watch the fight right under the ice.  I fought it on 4lb mono and it was one of the most exciting fishing experiences I've had.  We were only on like 4 inches of ice and in about 50 FOW so when ten people came over to look at what I caught I thought we were going swimming.  I think it was beginners luck since it was like the 3rd time I went ice fishing and I haven't pulled up a trout like that since.
