If you dont already have a vex get one of those. I heard the underwater viewing systems are horrible unless you are in crystal clear water and who knows where you can find that in mass. I would go with some jig sticks, some jigs and a soft shelter.

Could you mount one of these onto your camera for directional purposes underwater?

Lenz, how do you like that showdown. I like that it is a vertical graph and not a circle. Must be easier to read.

i like it a lot. vertical graph easier to interpret, longer battery life, you can zero in on different depths. the only thing its not goos is water 6' or less deep

What year HD you have?  I've been paying $1100 a year on my 2010 superglide!  I heared about some refunds and I would like to know what year you own to see if i should be expecting a check!

Buy some fresh water gear! I caught 53 bass last Sat. Probably not too far from where you live. I'll turn you on to the spot. Kill them in the fall and less weeds, less bugs and less a##holes.

Floater suit Lenz.  Time for some AA.  You like to skate on thin ice like I do and it
is my next major acquisition.

Jim, I just watched the video for the Aqua-Vu Micro and it is a cool piece of equipment.  All I can think of is having cold hands and dropping it into the hole.  The thing should have a lanyard built in to it.  I really like how portable it is.  You know you want one (subliminal message #1), get one now so the rest of us can use it.  :)

Just watched another vid, it deos come with a security lanyard for the wrist.  They keep mentioning how the camera is the size of an acorn on
20 pound test cable.  I can see you catching something on that.  If anyone can do it you will.

Incrredible gadget, lightweight and practical for spot fishing.  (subliminal message #2)

It can go in your pocket, right next to the flask. (subliminal message #4)  Couldn't think of #3 so I went right to #4.  Must have been the buca, buddy.

Dr. McGillicuddy gives it two thumbs up, he said it is refreshing and smooth on the way down.  I don't think we are talking about the camera anymore.   I'll get back to ya when my head clears.  LMAO

@Lava, I'm well aware Lenz is "hardwater only" from past posts, MFF etc... He mentioned open water gear in his original post hence my suggestion and yes weather and God willing we'll hit the Charles and see what bites! Otzi
