Will there be any good ice in northern il

Still thinking I might get one more trip in looking for good ice northern il no chicago lakes!!! Anyones input, I dont want your honey hole or even your tips just good ice, and not out of your freezer lol! I hate going north of 80 oughta be its own state but the weather sometimes dictates where a guy goes. Thanks

There will be ice where you went this weekend next weekend. Barring deluges and hurricane force winds.
