The ice in Turkey Neck is thick enough for 3 snowmobilers to go through which is where it happened on Saturday! They made it out on there own, but rescue squad, and a helicoptor got deployed

thanx for the post stike lead it is greatly appreciated, i understand the reason not tellin about the perch. but i will probably find them soon enough when i come up there. im think next week sometime. give the ice time to build up some more.

It doesn't matter to me. The fishdeepcreek.com site is getting lots of volume lately. I wondered where all of the iceshanty folks went. I figured that you guys were busy on the PA site and would eventually pick it up.

OK, most of the reports are on the DC reports thread now.  I'm going to lock this one but I'm going to start a new one for hooking up, plans, and Deep Creek general chat so you all can have that in one easy place.  And, I'll post a link to the reports DC thread to make it easy to get to...so, please, all reports from now on go there.
