Nice male bow

Caught this nice male steelhead last weekend through the ice on a tiny teardrop and a wax worm on 4lbs line. Talk about a huge fight! Was 30" and had a 20" girth.

My friend tiffany was just as excited if not more than me over this fish. She said she never thought trout got so big. lol

Well Done, Trophy Trout like that on light gear, it just doesn't get any better then that ! Love the spawn colors and the knarly old Hook jaw !

Thanks everyone! The taxidermist did amazing work once again he never ceases to amaze me with his work. He's done 4 trout for me repainted another and is in process of doing 2 30" male fall run wildrose brown trout. It's a 2 hour drive one way to his shop but well worth the extra mile.

Currently for fish we have a 24" native stream caught brook trout, a 24" coaster brookie paired with a 25" splake, a 26" largemouth, 2 northern pike heads (that me and my brother caught when we were little and each won a tournament with) the bow and a 32" laker caught on 4lbs line thru the ice as well. Not going to start on the list of mammals. My friends and family bring people over all the time just to see my living room.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm working on getting a 35+" hen and get it mounted as well would love to have a male/female pair mount.
