Blade question for hand augers

Hey all,

I have a strikemaster hand auger, what is the difference between lazer blades (which is what I have) and chipper blades? killing myself on this 15 inches of ice. lol

never heard of chipper blades i have a lazer as well buy them direct from strikemaster online they come with four new screws u needem

When i bought my lazr hand auger i made sure to buy the sharpener, as the package says it will not sharpen dull blades back to life but it will maintain the curent blades, i usually sharpen mine each time i get home.

You may have sharpened them a bit too much.
Unless you are cutting holes through ice and gravel, you shouldn''t need to re-sharpen the blades so often.
If the blades are old, it may be time for new ones, but only if the old ones cannot be reused.

Chipper blades are for power augers only.
