Is there any?  When most lakes around here struggle to get to 5 inches,  I wouldn't be surprised if Cold Lake is still open or too thin for anyone to try.

Not when the temps are like this.  If lakes around here are iffy, and they are, Cold Lake is a no go.  Like I thought:

Hey Walleye Hi....W101 ....

2 Friends of mine went thru the ice on Mcgregor .....
Fortunately they were walking back to their truck
On shore ......a wet ass but could have been worse ...
IMO. Pretty well  all those southern reservoirs suffer
      from gas bubbles.....seen it 2" ...50 ft. From 24" ....
I don't like to fish till after Xmas.
Walleye ,let me know when Driving on is good ....
I love big trout ....GB Thnx

Went by he lake today, bays are starting to freeze over, never went out to French Bay as no need to. 95% of the lake is still open water, will be a while. I wouldn't think about checking it out until after the new year.
